AUDITION DETAILS

Tuesday, September 23 - 7pm-8pm

at Dreamlight Studio, 230 Anchor Road #6, Hamilton

.Individual auditions will occur every 10 minutes. Pre-booking a timeslot is recommended.
Drop-ins are welcome, but will have to wait for an open slot to be seen.

PREPARATION DETAILS

Please prepare one song (preferably an upbeat or comedic song from a Broadway show). There will not be an audition pianist - singing to CD or iPod karaoke tracks is allowed. A capella is also acceptable. Note: This is not a vocally demanding production.

Preparing a comedic monologue is optional. Auditioners may be asked to read from the script, and/or learn a short dance piece.

ROLE DETAILS

This is the second round of auditions for this production. Only the following roles are still available:

Felix T. Filibuster
The world’s greatest detective who comes to the rescue of Constance to find her fortune and save the production of The Nutcracker. The Groucho Marx character.
Role: Lead / Sex: M / Age: 25-50 / Singing: Solo / Dance: Light-Medium


Clyde Ratchette

A suave thief who is engaged to Constance to steal her fortune, but is dating Ilona. The villain. Wears a toupee. Comedic part with lots of physical comedy.
Role: Supporting / Sex: M / Age: 35+ / Singing: Solo / Dance: Light-Medium


Ilona

Clyde’s secret accomplice. A tall, femme fatale type who is not afraid to use her looks to get what she wants.

Role: Supporting / Sex: F / Age: 20-35 / Singing: Some Solo / Dance: Light
